Chipotle Pumpkin Turkey Chili
This recipe is so fun for any harvest gathering and perfect for your family and friends on Halloween night before a little trick-or-treating. Serve this chili with our Sweet Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread. Happy Halloween!
Ingredients:
- 2 packages of ground turkey
- 1 12 oz. bottle KBC Pumpkin Ale
- 1/2 cup diced chipotle peppers (Not at TJ)
- 1 red onion finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 4 tsp Worcestershire (Not at TJ)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can fire roasted tomatoes
- 1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- Greek yogurt
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Cilantro
- Green Onion
- Avocado
- Blue Corn Tortilla Chips

Directions:
1. Sautee onions and garlic. Add your ground turkey and brown. (If you want to make this recipe in your @crockpot, transfer turkey and drippings to crockpot and then add the following ingredients.) Add your chipotle peppers, cinnamon, paprika, ginger, cumin, Worcestershire, pumpkin puree, pumpkin beer, fire roasted tomato, tomato sauce and mix well. Then add your two bay leaves.
2. Let chili cook stove top or in your crockpot on medium low for 4-6 hours. 30 minutes before serving, add in your drained and rinsed kidney and black beans.
3. Garnish with Greek yogurt, sharp cheddar cheese, green onion, avocado, cilantro and tortilla chips. (We like to use the blue corn tortilla chips for a little Halloween flair).
