Quick Pickled Onions

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup apple cider or red wine vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons black peppercorns
  • Directions:

      1. Mix together vinegar, salt and sugar together in jar. Shake well. Then add onions to jar until they are completely submerged in mixture. Then add peppercorns. Secure lid. Chill for at least 30 minutes or keep for up to 2 weeks.
